A Festival of Oddities 2020

2019's A Festival of Oddities was one of the best events I've been to. Extremely well organized and there was something for everyone. Food trucks, games for kids, even kitten adoptions! And of course, amazing vendors and authors!

2020 is gearing up to be even bigger and better.

Hope you'll join us September 5, 2020!

In 2020, A Festival of Oddities will feature a Living Library- an assembly of true crime, paranormal, and fictional horror authors from all over Michigan.

You will have a chance to meet and chat with the authors, take photos with them, and purchase autographed copies of their books.

Scream Queen Productions and The Courthouse Square Association present: A FESTIVAL OF ODDITIES! This event will be a day-long celebration of all things weird and macabre in Michigan. The festival will run from 11am-7pm.

Admission to the grounds is free for all ages. On the lawn, you'll find the majority of our vendors, food trucks, and special attractions. Shop with makers of creepy wares from across the state. Get your photo taken with the Lansing Ghostbusters and Ecto-1. Play vintage carnival games and stop by the kitten tent.

Inside the museum, you'll find our Living Library, the Scream Queen Boutique, oddities from around the globe, special guests, and much more.

Following the festival, there will be a paranormal investigation of the Old Eaton County Courthouse from 8pm-10pm, hosted by Portal Paranormal Society.

More details to come as the event draws closer.

We are the weirdos, mister! And now it's time to show the world!

Happy Friday the 13th! Check out the very special guest for the 2020 festival!

ARI LEHMAN- the first actor to ever play Jason Voorhees on the big screen!

Now everybody ch-ch-ch-ah-ah-ah with us!

"And on Friday the 13th, nothing will save them. You may only see it once, but that will be enough."
